Camel Trekking

What it is:  The ships of the desert, better known as camels, are one of the most classic and traditional experiences you can get in Dubai.  Camels are native to Arabia and have long since been a staple part of the culture.  Camels are nomadic animals that travel incredible distances across the scorching desert with very little access to water and you can take part in some of their amazing journey.  Camel Trekking gives you the opportunity to connect with these majestic creatures, where you can ride a camel while taking in the scenery and other wildlife out in the desert.  Enjoy a continental breakfast, too, and sometimes even a glass of bubbly for that little bit of luxury you know and love from Dubai.

How much it costs:  Arabian Adventures offers Camel Trekking for around 315 AED (£60.50) for a half-day experience, roughly from 8:00 AM until 12:00 PM.

When to go:  You can enjoy Camel Trekking until summer kicks in, around the 30th of April.
